Online Poker Payouts: Carbon Sees Fastest Check Processing in Over a Year

Good news on the online poker payouts front as Carbon Poker customers have reported receiving checks in record time.

Online poker websites have had difficulties processing voluminous numbers of payouts in a timely fashion over the past two years due to US Government regulations.  Late last year, the Department of Justice reversed its original opinion as it relates to Web poker, deciding it will no longer apply The Wire Act to such activity, thus opening the door for Internet poker to be fully legalized in the majority of US states.

A Carbon Poker representative advised on April 11, 2012: “Another batch of checks approved today. With, I believe, just one or two exceptions, all checks have been cleared up until March 25th. Two and a half weeks at longest wait right now.”

The average online poker payouts via check delivery for the US-facing sector across the board at some points during the year had reached upwards of 6 to 8 weeks.

Carbon Poker has operations in Europe, Australian and the Caribbean.  It is one of a handful of Internet poker sites that still accept customers from the United States, however, some states such as Washington, Utah, New York and Maryland are strictly prohibited.
