Kendall Wright, Brandon Weeden Draft Position Betting Odds

Kendall Wright and Brandon Weeden NFL Draft position betting odds have been released by Sportsbook.com.

Suzanne Halliburton of the American-Statesman had this to say about Baylor’s Wright:

Wright, at 5 feet, 10 inches and 196 pounds, doesn't have the prototypical body of an NFL receiver. So he needed to be fast to earn a spot in the first round. At the NFL combine in Indianapolis, Wright was average in the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.61 seconds.

That's why Wright ran the 40 again later in the month, when dozens of scouts and assistant coaches flocked to Waco to watch Griffin.

Wright ran a 4.41, good enough to put him back into the first-round conversation. The status is befitting someone who made 108 receptions for 1,663 yards, with 14 touchdowns. He caught passes totaling more than 100 yards in nine of Baylor's 13 games last season.

Oklahoma State's Brandon Weeden's value fluctuates wildly depending on who you listen to, notes Michael Peterson of TulsaWorld.com:

Since the beginning of the Weeden-NFL debate, the OSU star has always struck me as someone whose college positives would be negatives from a draft perspective.

While the Mike Leach-Dana Holgorsen offense is good at producing huge numbers, it hasn't been good at producing NFL quarterbacks. Weeden has the advantage of spending one year with Todd Monken, a former NFL assistant. But there will still be a transition period. Weeden's debut in a pro style offense during January's Senior Bowl produced a 5-for-9 performance for 56 yards and two interceptions.
