PokerStars on Tuesday May 8, 2012 launched a new software product that allows players to share poker hands they have played on PokerStars, the world’s biggest online poker room.  BOOM! Hand Replayer will act as a social sharing function for friends, family and followers on Twitter, as well as the wider poker community on BoomPlayer.com

Whether it’s a great play, bad play, huge pot or anything else noteworthy, players can tweet their hands direct from the PokerStars tables by clicking the new BOOM! button (a red star that appears in the chat box) after a hand is complete. Viewers will get to see a video replay of the hand, making it a quick, easy and fun way for players to show others their most exciting hands and get people talking about them.

At BoomPlayer.com players can also interact with the PokerStars community by voting on other players’ hands, watching those posted by Team PokerStars Pros, and even emailing their own hands or posting to other social websites.

The new product will not be available to those living in the United States as they are excluded from playing at PokerStars.com at this time.  US-friendly players are welcome at Lock Poker here
