Phil Ivey hasn’t won any of the 2012 World Series of Poker events yet, but he’s already amassed quite a payday of well over $500K, finishing in the money in four different events.  He is currently the leader to be named WSOP 2012 Player of the Year.

The WSOP Player of the Year Standings are a cumulative measure of performance. Players will only receive points for open bracelet events.

There will be ZERO points awarded for the following events:

> All non-WSOP gold bracelet events

> $500 Casino Employees No-Limit Hold'em (Event 1)

> $1,000 Championship Ladies Event No-Limit Hold'em (Event 53)

> $1,000 Championship Seniors No-Limit Hold'em (Event 30)
