The two biggest bets of the day, Sunday June 24, were England in the Euro 2012 and the Detroit Tigers playing Pittsburgh in Major League Baseball interleague play as a pretty steep -184 favorite at BetDSI.com. Note that BetDSI.com was offering LIVE IN PROGRESS WAGERING on many of the week’s big sporting events.
While Sunday’s Euro 2012 quarter-final matchup between England and Italy was getting significant betting action on both sides (England was seeing 45 percent compared to Italy getting 29 percent), nearly all the money was flowing Detroit’s way.
Italy was the 3rd biggest bet for Sunday.
The Yankees vs. Mets Sunday game was enjoying solid betting action with the Mets favored slightly by the public at most books. Some had the Yankees getting a little more. Yesterday’s Yankees win was crushing to the books as nearly all the public money was going towards the Bronx Bombers.
