As reportedly Friday, Gambling911.com has independently confirmed that PokerStars will be given the green light to move ahead and purchase shuttered Full Tilt Poker following a settlement arrangement made with the US Attorney in the Southern District of New York.  This deal also includes the payment of Full Tilt Poker players who have been owed monies for more than a year now.

Wedeen Eolis, who is especially tuned into what is taking place at the US Attorney’s Office and writes for the news venture Poker Player Newspaper, was the first to hint at a possible deal early Friday.  She went further to suggest that Full Tilt Poker’s popular software will be back up and running by November.

@WendeenEolis I let cat out of bag at http://PokerPlayerNewspaper.com ; jubilation for FTP employees/ Dublin & FTP customers. PS to be up for play/pay November

@WendeenEolis Last tweet needs typo correction. FTP to be up (relaunched by PS) for play and payouts due FTP customers.

An attorney intimately involved in the negotiations tells Gambling911.com he is elated by the decision and balked at the notion that we had often cast doubt on a positive resolution to occur on the Full Tilt Poker front.

“Can you believe it (now)?” he said.

The US Attorney’s Office could possibly release a statement as early as Monday (July 30), however, Gambling911.com has elected to take a more conservative approach and report a time frame within the next two weeks based on prior experience of these offices often taking several days to make information public.

More specific details regarding the settlement arrangement remain scant at this time outside of confirmation that players will be paid.
