Gambling911.com Senior Correspondent, Jenny Woo, this weekend had an opportunity to sit down with former Republican House majority leader, Dick Armey.  The two discussed "freedom of the Internet" issues and why the former Congressman believes online gambling should not be outlawed.

But more importantly, we learn Dick Armey has a donkey.  Its name:  "Jenny Woo".

Okay, so the donkey's name is just "Jenny".

"Let me tell you that I have a donkey named Jenny," Mr. Armey tells us.  "And the last time she was running away from me, I yelled out ‘Jenny whoa'."
We've heard that one before.

"Well I love my donkey.  She's a beautiful animal.  I know that's not the reason for this interview. But the reason we have a donkey is the donkey protects our goats from the coyotes."

Hey that's why we keep Jenny Woo here too!

But enough about asses.  Jenny's enlightened interview with "the leader", as many still call him, demonstrates that there are indeed politicians who truly care about our rights to personal freedoms, especially as it applies to the World Wide Web.

" I believe that personal liberty is a gift given to mankind by God almighty and it's the duty of government to protect it.  Especially on the Internet.  I describe myself and I think the organization would accept the description of cyber-libertarians.  We think the internet, the electronic economy is the driving engine of the world economy; we're very wary of misguided government policies screwing it up or loading it up and tying it down with red tape.  Yes we believe in internet gambling.  I personally do not gamble.  But we believe that internet gambling is just another right; another freedom you should have."

Jenny's interview with Dick Armey will be published here on Tuesday.
