The Colts Steelers line had Pittsburgh -4 at BetOnline for Sunday night’s only preseason NFL game.
The Colts number one draft pick, starting quarterback Andrew Luck, will take to the stage for his second preseason appearance.
Luck’s first play with the Indianapolis Colts was a touchdown. Ultimately he led his team to a 38-3 victory over the St. Louis Rams.
The Colts as 28-1 long shots to win the AFC South looked mighty enticing after that victory, with the prospects of winning OVER 5.5 regular season games at slightly better than EVEN odds, all the more tempting to bet.
"I thought he played really well," Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said of Luck’s Week 1 preseason performance. "I don't mean played really well for a rookie. I thought he played really well."
"It'll be fun," Luck said. "I realize every defense is good in the NFL, in my mind. But to have a chance to go against a great historical defense, a great franchise, with a great fan base, will be fun."
As for Tomlin’s Steelers, they are among the favorites to win the 2013 Super Bowl, listing at really generous 17/1 odds. They are co-favorites with Baltimore to win the AFC North.
