Eagles Patriots Line at New England -1

While the Eagles Patriots Week 2 NFL Preseason line was near EVEN, getting balanced action on both sides, the OVER 41.5 was seeing around 65 percent of the public betting action early Monday.

This promised to be one of the more exciting Preseason NFL games as both teams have single digit odds of winning the 2013 Super Bowl at WagerWeb.com.

Dominating the headlines this past week in New England was the Patriots signing of Olympic sprinter Jeff Demps, a former Florida running back who brought home the silver this month.  That said, Demps will not be eligible to play for another four days.

The primary injury concern coming into this game is New England first-string running back Stevan Ridley, who is questionable against the Eagles after suffering a right knee injury during practice on Thursday.
