PokerAce.com Launches as Newest Online Poker Network: Targets Asian Players

A new online poker network emerged this past week, which looks to target the Asian poker playing market.  PokerAce.com has launched with a bang, offering up the likes of World Series of Poker Main Event champion Joe Hachem and JC Tran as its spokespersons.  The company has developed its own proprietary card room and will license to other “skins” using a model similar to that of Merge Gaming and iPoker.

“I am thrilled to be a part of PokerAce,” proclaimed Hachem.  “Asia is a rapidly growing market and a poker room dedicated to this region is long overdue. JC, Nam and I have had input into the development of the platform and we aim to become the preferred destination for poker players in the Asia region over the next months.”

PokerAce.com offers a no download application providing access to tables that feature Hold’em and 13 Cards poker.  Tournaments, Sit’n’Gos and Ring Games are currently available.  Others games and new software features are under development and will be released in a very near future.

Players from across the globe are welcome with the following exceptions:  United States of America or its territories, Philippines, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, Israel, Antigua and Barbuda, Netherlands, Antilles, Estonia, or Cyprus, France, Denmark, Italy and Spain.

Currency is offered in US dollars and Chinese Renminbi for the moment.
