The Dolphins vs. Texans spread has oddsmakers working hard to get that money on Miami, but the line keeps going up. After the Giants and Patriots, the Texans were getting the most lopsided action for the first week of NFL betting.
Houston has now become a 4/1 favorite to win the 2013 Super Bowl. Both Green Bay and New England are a quarter of a point bigger favorites to win the Super Bowl at +375, which is pretty insignificant in the whole scheme of things.
Houston has beaten the Dolphins the last 6 times they have met dating back to 2003. They have never won by more than the current spread although the last two recent games were won by 7 and 10 points, respectively, compared to the no more than two point difference observed in the four previous games.

The Dolphins, surprisingly, are 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall. They tend not to play well during the month of September, going 4-14-3 ATS in their last 21 games played during this month.
