It is important to note that the line on this game has not moved an inch anywhere since opening at -3, yet more than 90 percent of those betting the spread were backing Detroit.

The Lions lost Sunday night in a tough road game against the red hot San Francisco 49ers.  History was against Detroit coming into San Francisco.  The 49ers ran their home winning streak against the Lions to 11 regular season games since Detroit's last victory at Candlestick Park way back on November  2, 1975.

The Lions are 0-5-1 Against The Spread in their last 6 road games and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall.  They are 9-21-1 ATS in their last 31 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.  In games where the line is +3 to -3, Detroit has gone 8-2 Straight Up, however, they are a crippling 1-9 Against The Spread as a road favorite of -3 points or less since 1993.   That is an absolutely brutal stat and one that makes us want to recommend at least a small wager on the Titans.   And we MEAN small since the Titans haven’t exactly showed up in their first two games of the regular season.

The Titans, who lost Sunday to the San Diego Chargers by a score of 10-38, were held to 212 yards of total offense.

"We didn't look like an NFL team," said Titans running back Chris Johnson, who had only 17 yards on eight carries.

"I really don't know what's going on," Johnson said. "I don't know how we're going to fix it or whatever. Can't get the running game going, can't get no yards no matter what we do. I don't know at this point."

The Titans are 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a Straight Up loss of more than 14 points and are 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

With all this money flowing in on the Lions, the bookies will want Tennessee in a very big way Sunday

Titans vs. Texans Betting Preview November 24

The Titans have won just two games this season, but even worse, they've covered in only one.  Tennessee prepares to take on the Houston Texans, a team that is 7-4 Straight Up and at the .500 mark Against The Spread.
