Just one day before 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event winner Jonathan Duhamel’s former girlfriend is expected to plead guilty in the brazen December armed robbery of his home, a fifth suspect has been apprehended and faces eight criminal charges.

The yet-to-be-identified suspect is believed to have been the getaway driver that day.  Charges include armed robbery; illegal confinement; issuing threats; mischief; breaking and entering; and conspiracy.

Duhamel was assaulted in his Montreal, Canada home after a group of individuals dressed in delivery uniforms forced their way inside, stealing cash and his prized World Series of Poker gold bracelet along with an expensive Rolex watch.  Duhamel suffered only minor injuries and all of his belongings were eventually recovered.

A former girlfriend, Bianca Rojas-Latraverse, was charged with orchestrating the heist and faces several years behind bars.  Her trial took place this month but attorneys for the defendant announced earlier in the week that Rojas-Latraverse is set to enter a guilty plea on Friday.
