Camasino.com offers its proprietary webcam online poker to those living in the US (free-to-play) and much of the rest of the world (real money or free-to-play).  Camasino.com now operates one of Canada’s largest land-based poker rooms, the Camasino Poker Club (formerly Snake’s Club), just outside of Montreal.

The site allows players to use either a webcam (live online poker) or select an avatar.  The company bills itself as the “world's first webcam poker social network” and is vying for a piece of the Zynga market.  Camasino is licensed in the same jurisdiction as the world’s largest “real money” online poker site, PokerStars, the Isle of Man off the coast of Great Britain.

“Our team has developed new technology which is protected through a worldwide copyright and offers the online poker societies a new way to play online poker.

“Camasino has worked hard to bring state of the art graphics, new features in the community section for better understanding of your opponents and a seamless stream so that you can read, speak and see your opponents every move. Camasino is bringing online poker to what it should be with all the variables needed to play respectable online poker.

“Our social network allows you to create friends online, upload your favorite video clips or pics, start your own private tables so you can play with your friends and much much more. Camasino is bringing poker to a level where it can be considered a sport and a social event for friends and family members worldwide.”
