Tony Bryant had this to say about the potential outcome of this game:

“Considering all that the Jets are dealing with this season and how good the Texans have been, this number does seem kind of low. Then again it is Monday Night Football, the Jets are at home, and this could be the game that (Tim) Tebow finally gets his opportunity to show what he can do under center so it is probably a good thing it is not at double-digits. Houston will win this game soundly, but things could get interesting late if Tebow gets his chance.”

Houston is winning with both its offense and defense, making this Texans team one that stands a solid chance of playing in their first ever Super Bowl.

“After years of relying on Andre Johnson and a talented offense to carry the load, this Texans’ team seems to have finally found the balance it needs to be a legitimate contender in the AFC South. Houston is averaging 31.5 points per game while limiting opponents to an AFC-best 14 points per game, and as long as that differential doesn’t fall too far the Texans will continue to win games.”
