Obama Odds of Winning Arizona Improve

It hasn’t exactly been acknowledged across the board as a so-called “Swing State” but Arizona is now becoming more competitive in the upcoming US Presidential elections.

A Democrat has only won the state once in the past 60 years, that being Bill Clinton.

Now a recent poll shows President Barack Obama in the lead by 2 points, well within the margin of error. 

The Behavior Research Center poll released Saturday shows Obama ahead of GOP nominee Mitt Romney 42-40 percent among registered voters and 44-42 percent among likely voters.  Obama holds a 67-point lead among the state’s Latino voters.

The vast majority of polls show Romney well ahead in Arizona.
