World Series of Poker Final Table 2012: Player Profiles

(Associated Press) - The final nine players in the World Series of Poker main event, as determined July 17 after an eighth session of no-limit Texas Hold ‘em at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

The finalists emerged from a field of 6,598 players and were set to compete Monday and Tuesday for the tournament’s top prize of $8.53 million, plus a gold championship bracelet worth $150,000. All nine finalists were paid ninth place prizes of $754,798 in July; higher finishers win at least $971,360 and will be paid the difference from ninth-place money after they finish their run.
