After opening at -7, the Texas vs. Texas Tech betting line had moved down a half point at most online sportsbooks.  Odds on this and other College Football games were available at BetDSI.com here.  LIVE WAGERING is available and receive up to $2500 in FREE CASH.

Both these teams come into this game with 6-2 records so, for some, the -6.5 line favoring Texas Tech might seem a bit high especially with Texas having won 8 of the last 9 in this series including the last two games.  Both were blowouts.

Against conference opponents, Texas is just 7-15 Against The Spread.  They are 1-7 ATS off playing a conference rival.

The Longhorns are a very unimpressive 2-8 ATS as an underdog over the last three seasons (not to mention 2-8 Straight Up).  They are 6-12 ATS when playing a team with a winning record.

A stat that truly stands out:  Texas Tech is 11-2 ATS as a home favorite of between -3.5 and 7 points since 1993.  They are 12-2 Straight Up over this same time period.

A few more Texas vs. Texas Tech betting trends to consider:

The Longhorns are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
