Ravens vs. Cowboys

A review of the Ravens vs. Cowboys odds heading into Saturday showed that there were three different lines ranging from Dallas -3 ½ to -4 ½ though nearly 90 percent of reporting online sportsbooks had the line at -4.

Dallas Cowboys bettors would want to jump all over the -3 ½ line found only at betED.com

Here is how the Cowboys make the Playoffs:

1) A win, an Atlanta loss and losses or ties by Philadelphia and Chicago.

1) A win, a Tampa Bay loss and losses or ties by Philadelphia and Chicago.

3) A win, losses by Atlanta and Tampa Bay and a Chicago loss or tie.

4) A win, a Philadelphia loss or tie, an Atlanta loss and Dallas clinches strength of victory tiebreaker over Chicago.

For Baltimore, it's a lot tougher but not impossible.

If the Ravens finish 11-5 record, they will grab the last AFC playoff spot and travel for a first-round playoff game against the winner of the wild AFC East.

In order for that to happen, the New York Jets win the East, enabling the Ravens to roll in the first round. If the Miami Dolphins pull it off, the Ravens will move on by winning a close game. If New England is the opponent, the postseason will end for Baltimore at Gillette Stadium, where Patriots coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Matt Cassel will find a way to make it happen.

Baltimore has dominated Dallas in both games played against each other this decade, though they were in Baltimore.  Previous to this, the Ravens beat Dallas on the road in 1994.

The Ravens are Ravens are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games following a S.U. loss and 2-10 ATS in their last 12 games as a road underdog of 3.5-10.0.

The Cowboys are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games in December, though they are 5-0 ATS in their last five games as a favorite.
