Jets Players Don’t Want Tim Tebow: ‘Backup is Terrible’ (Latest Odds)

Tim Tebow bashed by fellow Jets teammate in Daily News article

The New York Jets head into St. Louis this week as a +3 underdog with the odds originally opening closer to +1.  This is a completely dysfunctional team at 3-6 with the Jets publicly supporting struggling starting quarterback Mark Sanchez while bashing Tim Tebow.

One anonymous player referred to Tebow as “terrible” in a New York Daily News article while few players would stand up for the backup quarterback.

"Something's got to change," Jets running back Shonn Greene told Yahoo! Sports. "When you get to the point where you're 3-6, and losing and losing, a couple of guys are like, 'Oh, what would happen [if Tebow played]?' But guys at the same time have faith in Mark, so it's kind of an up-and-down thing."

Gambling911.com’s bet this weekend is on a more functional St. Louis team that nearly knocked off the mighty San Francisco 49ers on the road last week.  Instead, they walked away with the first tie since 2008.

The Jets will come into this game at just 8-18 Against The Spread vs. NFC West opponents since 1993 and they have only won a single game more Straight Up.

The Jets are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 road games.

The Rams are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall but are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.
