BestBet Poker Room St. Johns to Close While Jacksonville Room Thrives

The BestBet St. Johns County poker room in Florida is set to shut down due to declining revenues with much of the staff to be relocated to venues in either Orange Park or Jacksonville.

Have no fear Florida and Georgia poker players.  The industry is actually thriving in the Sunshine State.

The Jacksonville BestBet location, which opened back in March, features 70 tables, making it the largest poker room in the state.  It should be noted that BestBet St. Johns revenues were cut by nearly three quarters after the Jacksonville room opened.  The Orange Park location has also lost significant amounts of money.

BestBet Jacksonville has been consistently atop the state with monthly revenues that have stayed between $1.1 million and $1.3 million.

BestBet St. Johns was the first poker room to open in Northeast Florida.
