This early line was available for wagering at Sportsbook.  The Crimson Tide were favorites of -10.5.

80 percent of those betting on this game over the last 24 hours since the number was posted have been backing Notre Dame. 

The Fighting Irish were ranked number one on the BCS Standings for the first time in team history.  To date, they remain undefeated.  Alabama has one loss on the season.
