Winning Powerball Tickets Bought in Arizona and Missouri

We have a winner…or two!!! And it’s not Jenny Woo out of Pensacola, Florida. Sorry Jenny!!!!

The winning Powerball tickets were bought in both the states of Arizona and Missouri, it was revealed early Thursday morning. Unfortunately, we happen to reside in the state of Florida and, as such, are losers.

The record $579.9 million jackpot was won with these numbers: 5-16-22-23-29 and 6 for the Powerball.

Only two individuals will split the jackpot, assuming there were none of those office pools involved. In other words, two people will walk away with close to $300 million each before taxes!!!!

Tickets were selling at an average of 130,000 a minute across the United States in the hours before the drawing, said Chuck Strutt, executive director of the Multi-State Lottery Association.
