NAPT High Roller Bounty Shootout champion Ashton Griffin is leading the PCA10 Main Event with 349 players remaining from the 649 who started the day.
Combined with yesterday's 151 survivors, that means 500 players are coming back for Day 2. The 987 players at this year’s $10,000 PCA Main Event have generated a prize pool of $9,573,900. The winner will take home $1,859,000 as well as a stunning ‘Black and Steel’ design watch from Slyde, Official Watch Sponsor of PCA10. 144 places will be paid. (The field comprised today's 649 players, 320 players on Day 1a yesterday and 18 players who couldn’t make the trip but whose buy-in goes into the pot.)
Among those who made it through to Day 2 are newest Team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody, Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Christian de Leon, Christophe de Meulder, Andre Akkari, Victor Ramdin, Nacho Barbero, Scott Seiver, Angel Guillen, David Williams, Ivan Demidov, Liv Boeree, Dario Minieri, Eugene Katchalov, Leo Fernandez, Richard Toth and Alex Kravchenko.
Also heading into Day 2 are Team Online's Tatiana Barausova, George Lind and Isaac Haxton plus Friend of PokerStars Pierre Neuville.
