PredictionMachine.com has made its pick for the 2013 Super Bowl and the winner is…. The San Francisco 49ers.

PredictionMachine.com isn’t just some fly-by-night sports handicapping service operating out of a dark basement.  The site uses computer prediction models that have currently predicted the Super Bowl outcome in seven of the last nine championship games.

On Sunday, they ran the 49ers vs. Ravens match-up through their system a total of 50,000 times to determine that the 49ers came out on top 70 percent of the time, scoring an average of seven points more than the Ravens and outgaining them by 85 yards.  Some great information should you be planning on betting any of the hundreds of wagering props currently available online from sites like NorthBet.com (use invite code GAMBLING911 to join).

Speaking of prop bets, the model predicted that Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco would complete an average of 20.9 of 35.3 passes per game along with 1.3 touchdowna dn 0.8 interceptions while the 49ers Colin Kaepernick would complete an average of 17.2 of 28.8 passes for 1.6 touchdowns and 0.8 interceptions.  He also rushed for 38 yards.  Odds on each of these plays for both quarterbacks were being offered.
