Odds of where long time Denver Broncos coach Mike Shanahan will go next have yet to be released officially, unlike Shanahan himself who was let go by the Broncos Tuesday in a move that took the sports world by surprise.

Shanahan joined Eric Mangini, Rod Marinelli and Romeo Crennel on the unemployment line after going 24-24 over the past three seasons, including three straight losses in 2008 that turned a three-game division lead to an 8-8 record.  He served as head coach of the Broncos for 14 years.

In a statement, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen said: "After giving this careful consideration, I have concluded that a change in our football operations is in the best interests of the Denver Broncos. This is certainly a difficult decision, but one that I feel must be made and which will ultimately be in the best interests of all concerned."

Shanahan, 56, was 146-89, but the Broncos remained stuck at only one postseason victory since John Elway retired in 1999 after Denver's second championship.

The tears for Shanahan shouldn't last long as he will be in high demand around the league.

Among the teams most favored to snatch Shanahan:  The New York Jets, Detroit Lions and the Cleveland Browns.

"The Jets want Cowher," said Gambling911.com sports writer, Dan Shapiro, referring to the long time Pittsburgh coach, Bill Cowher.  "And nobody with the respect Shanahan has garnered will want to end up in Detroit."

Gambling911.com has made Shanahan landing in Cleveland the favorite with 2/1 odds (non bettable at this time as Gambling911.com does not accept wagers).

With Mike Shanahan now on the market, he could even end up in Dallas, which Gambling911.com will assign 4/1 odds to.

Sportsbook.com was likely to release betable odds in the coming days in addition to their massive menu of Playoffs betting and free cash promos.
