Tony Kanaan Wins Indy 500 at 10-1 Odds: A Carrie Stroup Favorite

Gambling911.com’s Carrie Stroup got it right when she predicted Tony Kanaan had one of the best shots of winning this year’s Indy 500, and that’s exactly what he did in his 12th attempt.

“Kanaan has never won this race, but he placed third in last year's Indy 500, marking his fifth top-5 showing in his past 10 races at this track,” she noted.   “Only twice during this span did he finish outside the top-12. Kanaan will start one row back (12th) of where he began last year's race (8th), but with double-digit odds, the No. 11 car is certainly worth a look on Sunday.”

10-1 odds pay $1000 for every $100 bet or $100 for every $10 bet.  NASCAR races and other Motor Sports events feature some of the best payouts online

This year’s Indy 500 drew modest interest from sports bettors, according to Gambling911.com statistical data for the 48 hours leading up to the big race.
