Gambling911.com Special Contributor and 2008 Libertarian Vice Presidential candidate Wayne Root appeared on “Piers Morgan” Wednesday night to discuss gun control, the recent IRS scnadal and President Obama, among other things.

Root, as Morgan notes, signed up with the NRA immediately after the shootings at a primary school in Sandy Hook, Connecticut that left 27 dead, most of whom were small children.

“I just want to make sure in this country we have a right to own guns,” Root told Morgan.

The host grilled Root on the topic, advising his guest that there were no laws being proposed that would eliminate the vast majority of guns.  As Morgan noted, some 2300 gun varieties would still be available for ownership via legal circulation.

“You feel like you have to join the NRA after 20 children are blown to pieces because you are worried you’ll only be left with 2300 types of guns to shoot?”

Root’s latest book is “The Ultimate Obama Survival Guide” and it is available on Amazon.com for just $14.99.  He is also a sports handicapper.
