World Series of Poker 2013 Sets Record: Two More Bracelets Won
The 2013 World Series of Poker has set a new record for a live buy-in tournament.
Just over 6300 players signed up for the newly unveiled Millionaire Maker event, breaking the old record of almost 4000 set back in 2009.
The individual who wins is guaranteed to walk away with a staggering $1 million with those making the final table also forecast to do well based on the number of entries and massive prize pool.
…. Mike Gorodinsky outlasted Kristopher Tong heads-up in Event #5: 2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low mix. This s Gorodinsky’s first WSOP bracelet and he takes home $216,988.
Tong was awarded $134,017 for second.
