Lock Poker pro Melanie Weisner has managed to thus far cash out in two of this year’s World Series of Poker events, including a 15th place finish in Event #16 for just over $26,000.

When not at the tables, Weisner likes to wind down at some of the best Vegas hot spots.

PokerNews.com recently sat down with Weisner to ask what she’s been up to off the felt.

Well….she’s actually been hiking… at Red Rock.

“There are so many different trails.  It’s so nice to get out in nature,” Weisner reveals.  “This majestic, you know, the scale of the scenery is so big it kinda makes you think like the bad beat you took earlier is not that big of a deal and a nice time away from poker.”

Weisner also likes the trampoline park in Las Vegas.

“It’s this place called Sky Zone and I love it.  It’s like this giant warehouse and it is wall to wall trampolines, like there is no space on the floors, it is just all trampolines and they go up the sides as well so you can kind of just bounce around.”
