New York Jets Regular Season Wins Total Odds – 2013: Super Bowl Odds 125-1

The New York Jets regular season wins total betting odds for 2013 were set at OVER/UNDER 6.5 with the UNDER favored at -140.  The OVER would pay out $12 for every $10 bet.  Their odds of winning the 2014 Super Bowl were set at 125-1 with a mouth watering payout potential of $12500 for every $100 bet at Bookmaker.

This team could (and probably will) grow impatient with quarterback Mark Sanchez early so expect to see David Garrard take over at some point.  He is, after all, considered a more accurate passer than Sanchez.  Garrard’s bad knee and back have been an issue since 2010.

There is also second Draft pick Gino Smith, who got one start last season after Sanchez was benched.

This is not necessarily a bad Jets team, especially on defense.  Any alterations at starting quarterback could spell the difference between an UNDER 6.5 regular season wins total or an OVER 6.5 regular season wins total.

New York plays 10 teams this season that finished last year under .500 (counting a Saints team that should be much improved in 2013).
