The New Orleans Saints 2013 regular season wins total betting odds had the OVER/UNDER at 8.5 with the OVER a huge -195 favorite. The UNDER would pay $165 for every $100 bet. Oddsmakers seem almost certain that the Saints will win at least 9 games in 2013. But will they? Could there actually be value on the UNDER 8.5?
The answer to that question is “probably not”. Just look at the schedule. New Orleans only plays 6 games against teams that had a winning season in 2012.
On paper, it looks like the Saints will win at least 10 games in 2013 but the price is high.
Still, some will pay the $195 for what they perceive to be an almost guaranteed $100.
