Atlanta -133 at BetOnline -  A little pricey but we really like the Braves here hosting Washington.

Atlanta had won 6 straight against Washington until dropping one in overtime yesterday.  The Nationals actually managed to pull off that victory in the 15th inning.  The Braves lead the series 11-4.

Gio Gonzalez is 2-5 when starting against Atlanta with an ERA of 5.24 and a WHIP of 1.433.  His team's record is 2-6 in these starts.

Julio Teheran is 1-1 when starting against WASHINGTON with an ERA of 3.75 and a WHIP of 1.417.  His team's record is 3-1 in these starts.

Atlanta is 12-3 in their last 15 games as a favorite and 20-6 in their last 26 overall.

Gonzalez is winless in his last five starts, including a game in Detroit on July 31 when he yielded 10 runs and 11 hits.

Teheran had four straight wins with one or fewer earned run allowed before losing to Philadelphia last time out. Teheran has been on fire at home, going 5-3 with a 2.93 ERA in 12 starts.

The Nationals are 2-12 in their last 14 vs. a team with a winning record.

Kansas City/Detroit UNDER 7 – Here is a situation where you have Tigers ace Max Scherzer with one lone loss on the season going winless his last time out against the Chicago White Sox.

Bruce Chen, meanwhile, is 5-0 on the season. Chen has a 0.93 ERA in six outings. He has allowed three or fewer hits four times during the stretch.

The UNDER is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings.  The UNDER is 7-1-1 in KC last 9 games as an underdog.  And the UNDER is 17-6-3 in KC last 26 overall.

Prior to yesterday’s game going OVER, this series remained UNDER 5 runs in the three previous games since Thursday (one being a doubleheader).

The UNDER is 6-1 in Tigers last 7 home games with the total set at 7.0-8.5.  The Under is 6-1 in Tigers last 7 home games.
