Even though St. Louis got clobbered 0-10 their last game at home vs. Cincinnati, the Cardinals have been playing relatively solid baseball of late and enjoys a one game lead in the NL Central over Pittsburgh. They have also gone 3-1 vs. the Pirates in their last four meetings.
Pittsburgh won four of its last five home games against St. Louis.
Liriano got beat his last start in San Francisco so Gambling911.com expects him to bounce back at home vs. the Cardinals.
Pittsburgh are 9-3 in Liriano's last 12 starts.

The UNDER in this series is 12-2-2. It is 6-4 using the current total of 8.5.
Gonzalez is 2-1 with a 2.48 ERA in five career outings against the Yankees, including an 0-1 mark and 2.37 ERA in three meetings this year. He has not had a winning start since July 20. The 29-year-old threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief since that time.
Sabathia recorded a quality start Saturday - just his third in his last eight outings - but still ended up with the loss after allowing 3.5 runs in 6.3 innings.
While not himself of late, he has enjoyed success against the Orioles, going 17-5 with a 3.19 ERA in 28 career starts.
The UNDER is 13-6-1 in Gonzalez's last 20 road starts.
While the OVER is 5-1 in Sabathia's last 6 home starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5, Gambling911.com is hopeful that the starting pitcher could have his act together for this critical game against a team where the UNDER has a strong edge. Hopefully his last start is an indication that he is getting things back together and pitching like the Sabathia we knew from the first half of the season.
