The Texans-Chargers betting line had Houston as a -3 point favorite for this Monday Night Football (MNF) game.  WagerWeb.com was the only book offering this line as of Monday morning. These two teams haven’t met since 2010 when San Diego beat the Texans by a score of 29-23.  But to show how things have changed, it was the Chargers who were -3 point favorites at that time playing in Houston.

The Texans are 0-5 Against The Spread in their last 5 Monday games but are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games in September.

The books will be rooting for San Diego Monday night as the Texans are seeing 91 percent of the public backing on the spread.  The Redskins, by comparison, were seeing 71 percent of the public action against Philadelphia for their Monday night game.
