The New York Giants and the Kansas City Chiefs will battle it out this Sunday in a game that will mean a lot to the winner. Both teams have some setbacks that they are going to have to sew up if they are going to be able to overcome the issues that they had in the past few weeks. Neither one is a stand out favorite at first glance. They both have problems that just can’t be overlooked at all.

The Giants defense is weak, they haven’t exactly had a great deal of sacks these last few weeks and will most likely be lackluster in harassing Alex Smith. They absolutely need to do this if they are to bounce back in this season. Meanwhile the Chiefs can come back, but only if they protect their quarterback for a change. They have allowed Alex Smith to take some serious shots in the past few weeks, with 10 sacks already. The last two weeks have been brutal for the Chiefs in a lot of ways, and if the Giants tighten up on the defensive end, it may be a long day for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The offensive side of things isn’t looking good, the younger Manning brother is looking awful these days. He is throwing interceptions, losing his golden touch and took a beating from Peyton as well. There’s something wrong in New York and Kansas is going to try and make sure that they capitalize on it.
The Match Up:
This is one of many interesting games being played this weekend, and could go either way. Both teams have upside potential, but they both look weak as well. There isn’t a lot of favoritism that we’re going to be using here, even though the Chiefs may have a little bit of an edge according to some analysts. The Giants are going to have to do something to get back into their winning ways, but it’s not going to happen this week. Kansas has a good defensive spark that comes through in each game, and they’ll take it to manning and topple the Giants. We’re going with Kansas City this time around at – 4 ½.
