In another key match up that will be quite interesting to see, these two teams are poised to have a good start of  3 – 1 with a win this Sunday. The game should feature some interesting points of interest, with another young quarterback in Geno Smith trying to edge out Mark Sanchez. Doing what Tebow couldn’t, he has somehow managed to get the nod in these latest games, and well, it hasn’t be pretty either.

Current line: Tennessee Titans – 3 ½  / Over & Under at 39

Time:  Sunday, September 29, 4:05 pm (EST) CBS, NFL Red Zone

Meanwhile the Titans have a great deal of interesting set up, with Jake Locker poised to take on Rex Ryan’s defense. The Jets do have some good defensive tactics, but will it be enough of a push to get them over the Titans resurgence? The wildcard is definitely whether or not Geno Smith can throw up some good numbers. If the Jets offense can deliver a high amount of points, their shortcomings on defense may not matter so much.

Meanwhile, the Titans have some good scorers and will definitely rely on Chris Johnson yet again pushing the boundaries. The Titans will have to isolate the young quarterback, similar to the way the 49ers young gun was holstered this past week in their lost to the Colts. If you can get to Smith the mistakes that he’s been making will continue, and that will definitely drive this game into overdrive. The key here is defense, with a good defensive strategy against the New York team, the Tennessee Titans will win again.

The Match Up:

On paper the two teams can definitely go far, but will they be able to muster up a great amount of points? There is always the possibility of a break down, but it will most likely not be the case here. Look for a drag out fight, and one team getting tired towards the end. The Jets don’t have everything together yet, they can improve before the playoffs, but the lack of Sanchez is really hurting them. It’s for that reason that we’re going to go with the Titans in a battle of the defensive side of things. Tennessee Titans -3 ½ makes sense.

The Edge:

Tennessee Titans – 3 ½

SportsCashSystem.com Prediction: Tennessee Titans – 3 ½
