In what may turn into a defensive showdown, Georgia Tech will face Miami this week at Sun Life Stadium and “THE U” will be doing what they do best, making some serious noise.

Current line: Miami – 6/ Over & Under at 42

Time:  Saturday, October 5, 3:30 pm (EST) ESPNU, Watchespn.com

The game is already getting a lot of attention because of the way the Hurricanes have been playing. It was supposed to be an all offensive powerhouse, but it turns out that the defense has been taking it to teams in a way that most weren’t prepared for. They are undefeated going into this month, and it’s interesting to see what they will do against Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech has installed an interesting offensive weapon, as they have a triple option that is going to definitely stun the Canes at first, as they will need to make sure they do not fall for it, and lose yardage fast.

The offensive line for the Yellow Jackets will definitely be a hard option for the Canes defense to go through, and that is what’s making this game quite interesting. There will be some interesting points, especially if the Georgia Tech team’s flex bone formation will allow them to run rough shot through several quarters. If the Hurricanes actually stick to their assignments, this could turn into an easy win, however, the coach has been in the media stating that there seems to be mix ups in the secondary, to the point where the Georgia Tech team may have another option to add to their existing line up of trick plays.

The Match Up:

These two teams are quite aggressive on the ball, but it’s the Miami defense that is going to make this one interesting. If they continue to surge like they have been, than the Yellow Jackets are going to find themselves dealing with a new set of problems. If the options start to diminish, look for them to take to the air and hopefully get the secondary of Miami to falter in the defensive coverage. If they allow their coverage to slip, even a little, the Georgia Tech will take this one away with relative ease.  We’re going to go with Miami on this one, they seem to have an edge at – 6.

The Edge:

Miami – 6

SportsCashSystem.com Prediction: Miami – 6
