Georgia will be looking to improve this week against the Tennessee Volunteers in what will be an interesting match up. The home team in Knoxville will definitely have to be on their best game to overcome the onslaught that is to come from the Bulldogs.

As with any team in the NCAA college world, there is a point where the guard is let down and a team comes in and shakes them into a loss. The Georgia team has to be ready mentally if they are going to have a chance at winning big. They will not be able to do so if they do not concentrate on a variety of key aspects of the game. They have had a good overall start, but they are going to be eaten up by Tennessee if they do not mentally prepare. Even without Todd Gurley, they need to find the best way to play against Tennessee. It’s far too easy to lose here, if they are not careful.
For Tennessee, the defense has to come out strong and has to hit Georgia’s freshman backs. If they do that well, and contain the Georgia run game, you’ll find that the Volunteers will definitely knock the Bulldogs down a peg. The key here is the run game has to be stopped at all costs. If Georgia goes to the air, the Volunteers can match them and get the secondary to collapse in on the game, and run away with a victory overall. Aside from the defense, Aaron Murray has to get in and control the way the clock works. If he can somehow delay the offense of the Bulldogs, things are going to look a lot better overall. This is going to be one aspect of the game that will need work or else the Georgia squad will come through hard.
The Match up:
Georgia can be very physical and if they bring the same kind of pressure that they brought to LSU last week, the Tennessee team is going to have a hard time moving forward. Meanwhile, the Volunteers have to play their best game here or else the Bulldogs will run right through them. With all that in mind, we’ll have to give it to Georgia at - 11 ½ .
