2013 WSOPE Final 6 Determined: Benny Spindler Leads
The aim for today was to make the final eight players from the 24 that started at midday. Such was the quick progress made that the final eight was reached in less than four levels of play. The WSOP made the decision to play on until six remained and that only took another 50 minutes of play.
The “Friday Six” will be headed by a young man from Spain who eliminated Andrei Konopelko in seventh place, after eliminating Shannon Shorr in eighth, to end the day. He leads a star-studded six that has a very European flavor.
Adrian Mateos has an impressive 3,781,000 and will be hard to stop on Friday, especially as he has position on all his main rivals.
Here’s how the final six will line up:
Seat 1: Benny Spindler – 1,748,000
Seat 2: Fabrice Soulier – 1,871,000 Seat
