Current line: Florida State – 22 / Over & Under at 110 ½

Time:  Saturday, November 2, 8:00 pm (EST) ABC

Miami isn’t the best on defense, but they have better become the best this weekend as Florida State is one powerhouse offensive team. They have been sawing through teams on offense and can throw up a lot of points, really fast. The Hurricanes will need to make sure that they control the run game and watch for the fakes, and long passes down field. Meanwhile Florida State needs to avoid their classic slow starting point. They seem to find their bearings midway, and then start to pummel opponents, but if they do that this week, they are going to find a Hurricanes team that will take them to task.

Miami will need a great game from Duke Johnson, or else this one could turn into a terrible game for Miami, that’s for sure. Florida State needs a good defensive showing as well, and some analysts have called out Timmy Jernigan as one of the wildcards for this game, so keep an eye on the defensive line.

The Match Up:

Miami and Florida State both have upside, with very interesting points of contention that you absolutely have to look into for greatness moving forward. These two teams are going to showcase a great deal of talent on the field, and the win will go to whomever can capitalize on the mistakes that the other makes. Even so the odds are not looking like they are going to favor the Hurricanes, and after all is said and done, it very well may be the thing that changes everyone’s mind. Can the Hurricanes really topple a Florida State team that has been showcasing some of the best gameplay in college football? Probably not, as we’re going favorites on this one. Florida State – 22, it’s going to be a rough one.

The Edge:

Florida State – 22

SportsCashSystem.com Prediction: Florida State – 22
