San Jose, Costa Rica - The EquityPokerNetwork.com (“EPN”) announced today that it has signed the online card room, PokerHiro.com (“PokerHiro”) to the innovative Cooperative poker network. The launch of PokerHiro at EPN brings the first Asian-facing Operator into the mix, giving the ‘non-profit’ Network access to the growing and relatively untapped Asian online poker market.

The partnership will see PokerHiro provide its players with a gateway to EPN’s online poker ring games, sit n goes, and scheduled tournaments from Friday, November 8th, coinciding with the confirmed launch date of full real-money gaming options across the Network. For EPN, the agreement with the Asian-based iGaming business indicates a boost to liquidity, delivering a whole new realm of online poker players to the Cooperative Network.

PokerHiro’s presence on EPN will also create an exceptional opportunity for Asian players to test their skills against their European and U.S. poker-playing counterparts, competing against those at EPN’s flagship poker room, FullFlushPoker.com, and players at other EPN poker rooms, including IntegerPoker.com and GearPoker.com. The debut of the much-anticipated real-money gaming functionality at EPN will enable players across the globe, regardless of skill level or nationality, to find a tournament or ring game to play in their EPN poker room of choice, at any time of day or night, and at a stake that suits.

“Sealing the deal with PokerHiro is a boon for us at EPN, and we’re excited to complement the current list of Cooperative founding members with an Asian-focused online poker room, that will expose our unique non-profit business model to the flourishing Asian market, and particularly Asian gaming operators who might be looking for a smarter and more profitable way to enter the online poker industry,” said Network Founder and CEO Clive Archer.

As an Operator on EPN, PokerHiro will enjoy a level of autonomy in configuring their own tournaments and promotions, and can continue to allocate their comps structure as they desire, which includes rewarding players with free tickets to play in some major live events in Asia, such as the popular and prestigious Asian poker tournaments, the APT, APPT, and the Macau Poker Cup.

PokerHiro players will have instant access to their balances once the migration to EPN is complete, as well as entry to the Network’s weekly Sunday Freeroll at 15:00ET, which has escalated to a $5000 prize pool on Sunday, November 10th. They will also become part of EPN’s premium online poker experience that maintains the fun of the game, while also treating the issues of privacy, security, superior customer support, and safe and speedy payouts, as Network priorities.

Expect additional EPN partner announcements to be forthcoming.
