The Mizzou vs. Kentucky betting line had Missouri as a -13.5 road favorite pretty much across the board.  They were the biggest public favorite this weekend, bigger than Alabama, Baylor, FSU and Auburn in fact.  An incredible 97 percent of those betting this game were backing Missouri here and you better believe the bookies both online and in Vegas will be praying hard for the Kentucky cover.

If we were betting folks here at Gambling911.com, we’d say odds are good Kentucky will cover here based on the oddsmakers moving this game just a half point in Mizzou’s favor.  Sure going over 14 is dangerous, but should Missouri cover, the bookies are going to be absolutely slaughtered here.

But then we have to look at past trends to understand what the wagering public is seeing, and it ain’t pretty for Kentucky.

Missouri as a favorite of 10.5 to 21 points has gone 2-0 Against The Spread this season and 4-2 over the past three seasons but here is the trend that has the betting public licking their respective chops:  Kentucky, as an underdog of 10.5 to 21 points, is just 1-11 ATS over the past three seasons.  OUCH!!!!!

The Wildcats are also just 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a Straight Up win.  They are currently 2-6 Straight Up on the season compared to Mizzou, which has lost just one game.  The Tigers beat Kentucky by 23 points last season.

We can’t overemphasize, this is an extremely dangerous game for bookmakers.  Hard to believe when we have a number of other more high profile games on tap for Saturday.  And in case you were wondering, Auburn was the second most wagered on side of the day.
