Full Tilt Poker customers living in the US were expected to see their monies by March 31 (2014), nearly three years after that online poker company shut its doors to Americans.  A few million dollars is owed to former Full Tilt players.

The deadline to file a claim was this past Saturday (November 16, 2013).

The Garden City Group, acting as a claims administrator on behalf of the US Government, released the following statement:

We are in the process of reviewing Petitions filed by Petitioners who confirmed their balances online and who have not disputed their FTP Account Balance or submitted multiple Petitions. We expect payments to be made with respect to such Petitions with confirmed balances by March 31, 2014.

Full Tilt Poker was named as part of an April 15, 2011 indictment handed down by the US Governement.  Two executives from the firm were charged with bank fraud and money laundering and have since plead guilty.

A settlement agreement to pay back all US players, at least in part, was reached between Full Tilt Poker’s new parent company, The Rational Group, and the US Government last year.  The Garden City Group has sent out emails to known Full Tilt Poker customers over the last several months notifying them of the remission process.

Pros and affiliates who represented Full Tilt Poker are not included within the March 31, 2014 time line but could be compensated at a later date.
