Dmitri Holdeew Takes Down Eureka Prague Main Event

The record-breaking tournament is finally over after Dmitri Holdeew from Germany became the Eureka 3 Prague champion for a €226,400 first prize. He is mainly a cash game player but was still capable of beating online tournament professionals Ami "UhhMee" Barer and Stephen "stevie444" Chidwick at the final table.

Holdeew went on a hot streak starting with the elimination of Milan Simko in 6th place. He bust all remaining opponents and after five straight KOs, the German remained the last man standing. 
Ami Barer lost the heads-up battle to finish as a runer-up for €131,400 and Stephen Chidwick got the €92,500 third prize.


The best player from the home country was Jaroslav Peter who finished 4th (€68,800) which means that Czech Republic still doesn't have a winner after three seasons of the tour. 
Johannes Tiefenbrunner was the first to fall at the final table followed by the Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki who went out in the 7th place.
