The 2014 poker tournament schedule is off to a cold start with Sands Bethlehem already announcing the cancellation of Thursday’s flight for the DeepStack Extravaganza.

Event 1B: No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 Guaranteed) will not be taking place due to inclement weather.

Friday’s Flight 1C (Fri) was still on with a new Noon start.  This is a $100K Guarantee.

A storm with snow and slippery travel was expected to affect the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania area late Thursday into Thursday night and will be followed by the coldest weather since 2009 on Friday.  3 to 6 inches of snow was anticipated.
