A defective poker table set with chairs sold at discount chain department store Wal-Mart has been recalled, according to CardSchat.com.

The product in question is the Mainstays with black padded metal folding table and four black padded metal folding chairs.  It is manufactured in Taiwan by Dongguan Shin Din Metal & Plastic Products Co.

The US Product Safety Commission warned:

“The chairs can collapse unexpectedly, posing a fall hazard and a risk of finger injury, including finger amputation.”

At least ten injuries have been attributed to the product including an individual who had their finger severed off.
