Nigel Goldman, a British poker pro popular on the big name tournament circuit, has gone missing from his Costa Del Sol, Spain mansion.

It’s not just Goldman who has gone missing, however.  Some by £2.5m in clients funds have also vanished.

The warning signs may have been there from the get-go.

After two stints in prison, Goldman authored the book  “High Stakes: How I blew £14m” then went on to re-invent himself as an investor.

Where he invested clients funds is anyone’s guess.

Some have taken to the posting forums.

“He gambles client’s money away on a busty old Russian wife and his poker,” wrote Jim Mackie, a client of Goldman’s.

Another, Collette Nelson, state: “Nigel Goldman is a scumbag; he’s stolen my life savings and run off with his girlfriend.”  “Nigel Goldman is a scumbag; he’s stolen my life savings and run off with his girlfriend.”

Giles Brown, a journalist “The Olive Press” said of the missing poker pro: “Nigel is a rogue, shake hands with him and you count your fingers afterward.”

Goldman was last seen in Morocco earlier this month.   His last reported communication was a text sent to a friend which read: 'I did not set out to be a thief.'
