WSOP Main Event 2014 May Have $10 Million First Place Prize

World Series of Poker officials may have accidentally leaked that their will be a $10 million guaranteed 1st place prize awarded to the winner of the WSOP 2014.

If true, this would be the second largest cash prize given out during the main event.

A schedule for this year's series was temporarily published at WSOP.com/2014 and showed that the WSOP Main Event would start on July 5 with the first of three Day 1s. In parenthesis next to "Day 1A," "Day 1B," and "Day 1C' was a note that read, "$10 million 1st Place Prize." The website has since been taken down; trying to access WSOP.com/2014 now yields a "Forbidden" message.

Caesars Interactive Entertainment Vice President Seth Palansky told iGaming on Friday, "Nothing is finalized yet. We're still working through some things on the schedule and nothing should be taken as final."
