Liverpool was victorious over Arsenal Saturday, walking away with a 5-1 victory.  Bettors were all over both clubs at an equal rate.

The matchup attracted punters from around the world placing their wagers on the weekend’s most highly anticipated soccer event.

Chris Waddle, BBC Radio 5 live pundit Chris Waddle was quoted at the end of this matchup:

"Liverpool were fantastic on the eye and were outstanding - Brendan Rogers will be very proud of his team. This is not the way Arsenal would have wanted to start their run of hard games. It's been a terrible defeat."

Regarding Arsenal he said: "Arsene Wenger will have prepared his team and will have warned them that Liverpool start quickly, but Arsenal never sprang out of the box. Arsenal didn't wake up until they went 4-0 down, and you cannot do that in the Premier League."

Arsenal lead the Premier League coming into this game.  Liverpool was in 4th place and down four points from the lead.

Steven Gerrard's defensive stats in that performance are impressive. He made seven tackles - the most of any player in red - and 10 clearances - second only to Kolo Toure.
